the bartenders were friendly and made delicious drinks that perfectly complemented the warm evenings spent by the pool. the main restaurant had a lovely outdoor seating area where we enjoyed our meals with beautiful views. the mini water park was a hit with our family, providing endless fun and excitement. the room we stayed in was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. the service throughout our stay was impeccable, with housekeeping ensuring our room was spotless and the staff going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. the breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. we had a delightful experience at this resort.

One downside we experienced was the limited availability of kids club sessions, which only lasted for 2 hours. It would be more convenient if they offered longer sessions, such as from 9-1 or 1-5, to allow parents to have some quality relaxation time.

The location of our room was beachfront and the room was very nice. All inclusive is ideal when travelling with small children. The standard of the resort was very high and service was good everywhere.

No Wifi in rooms, which is not good enough for a brand new resort.

The beach was very close to the hotel and easy to access. The room was comfortable and had a great sea view. The hotel had a lot of outdoor activities.

The food quality was poor and the buffet was always crowded. The staff seemed uninterested in helping us or making our stay enjoyable.

It is a beautiful resort, open since 2011, very nice decorated in the colors off white and taupe. It has a lot of facilities which suits kids but also adults. The choice of restaurants is perfect; buffets or a la carte and the quality of the food is very good. Every day the menu changes so there is choice enough. The people who work at the resort are very friendly and speak very good english. Comparing this 5 star resort to other 5 star resorts we think that the Blue Lagoon Village is really worth her qualification.

There isn't anything we didn't like, for us this resort is perfect.

Wonderful architecture, design and very good infrastructure but behind all this facade there is nothing to say that this hotel deserve a 5-star rating: very poor service, bad organization, bad logistic. I hope the score that Booked.net will give for my review will not exceed 5.

Not a single professional staff in this hotel but students, trainees, summer jobs, etc. They come all over Europe (mainly Eastern Europe) and hardly speak English. They are lost, badly or not organized or simply not trained at all. If you are luckly your room will be cleaned before 6pm (specially for a Suite DeLuxe, the more you pay the less you get !!) and most likely without clean towels for the shower. Towels for the beach or pool are already out of stock at 10 am, knowing they open the "shop" at 9:30 am, you'd better hurry up or wait for minimum half an hour for the next service. Food is absolutely not worth for a five star hotel but common buffets with pizza, pasta, fries, meat or fish in gravy and some greek specialities. In brief this hotel is closer to a 3 star than 5. Never again !!

Great amenities, delicious food and friendly staff. the hotel had excellent Wi-Fi and a fantastic water park. the breakfast was fantastic, always with a great selection and the staff were always welcoming. the view from the rooms of the pool was stunning, and the room was modern and clean.

Expensive car rental and water sports activities. the car hire from the hotel was overpriced and the experience with staff wasn't great.

The resort was very beautiful, new, and large. The pools/ waterslides or you could call it a waterpark were amazing and the beach area very nice. They had a wonderful kids' club and nightly entertainment for everyone, due to the Thomson tour group out of the U.K. We weren't a part of that group, but they let us take our son for 4 euros per session on the kids' club and he thoroughly enjoyed it! That was a real bonus for us. The food was pretty good for all inclusive and had enough choices to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. We went in late October, so we enjoyed the hot tub on our deck when it was a little too cold for the outdoor pool.

The hotel is out in the middle of nowhere, so its why they have all inclusive and lots of entertainment. I think next time I may stay somewhere close to Kos town, so that we have the option of going to shops and out on the town. They did, however, have rental cars available and offered some excursions, so you could go to Bodrum, Turkey, a waterpark, or other tours. Most of the staff was absolutely wonderful, however, there were a few poolside bartenders and waffle/crepe staff that were less than friendly. However, several others made up for their lack of friendliness. You had to make reservations for some of the restaurants and they filled up quickly. (Chinese, Italian, and bbq) Then when we went to them they weren't that much nicer than the big buffet main restaurant. I wish the main restaurant would have had more bacon in the morning and would have added hamburgers to the menu. I was a little surprised that no hamburgers or cheeseburgers were offered the whole 8 days we were there.

Beautiful brand new resort. Very nice swiming pool and beach. I recommend this hotel for especially for families with childern.

Some of hotel staff was not willing to help. We were half a day without beach towels-not expected in five star hotel. We were also unhappy that even opening hours of all inclusive restaurants were until 6pm they usually close at 5:30.

We were delighted with the exclusive amenities provided. the staff was attentive and accommodating, and the swimming pool and jacuzzi were spotless. the room was spacious and included private facilities that made our stay much more comfortable. the restaurant provided excellent meals, and the free breakfast was a great way to start the day.

The only minor issue we experienced was the location. While the venue provided stunning views of the area, it was a bit farther from the city center than we would have liked.

We enjoyed the food for its quality and variety. The last day we had to check out at noon and had the flight in the evening: we found great that we could have lunch and dinner before leaving, using all the facilities and services of the village, including having fresh new towels to take a shower after the beach and get ready for the trip back. Great services for children. The courtesy of the always smiling staff is remarkable.

The quality of the beds to take sun in the swimming-pool and in the beach: they are very uncomfortable and not adequate to a five-stars structure. The price to rent a car should be to keep the car 24 hours, but infact, if you get the car in the morning you have to give it back in the evening, then it is not 24 hours of rental but only for the day and the price is expensive.

    - Location. It's remote, but that's the resort's magic as it's located between mountains next to a beautiful beach. Beautiful views all over, worthes the effort of getting there - Design & Architecture. Very modern and clever, mixed with the beautifull scenery and makes a beautiful resort - Staff. Very friendly, mostly does everything to satisfy - Rooms. Spacious and comfortable. Nice facilities and bathroom - Cleanliness. Not only the rooms but the whole resort is kept clean and tidy

    - Food (!!). A real issue in such high-standards, especially when it's about All-Inclusive. This is probably one of the only flaws of BLV, however a major one. The buffet offers bland, old-fashioned, unfresh, monotonous food. The A-La-Carte restaurants are better (the Chinese restaurant is very good). Needs vast improvement over this aspect - Internet. No access inside the rooms, very expensive outside All in all, the resort offers very good 5* facilities for families with children or people who want to relax in beautiful parts of nature and sea. If food is a decider, BLV isn't recommended unless issue's improved.

Excellent location, beautiful hotel, amazing food, rooms and views - something for all family members- spotless and clean ....above all the staff were super attentive, so polite, warm and helpful and couldn't do enough for you.

As we had a 1 year old baby - not enough ramps and lifts to access certain areas such as the main dining hall!!

Very modern luxurious hotel, beautiful comfortable clean room, staff very friendly and helpful, food very good and lots of choice !

It was late October and the beautiful swiming pools were freezing, they should have at least one of them heated !

I liked the design of the hotel, it was brand new, the staff was really friendly.

Because it was the beginning of the season, not all restaurants and bars were open so to little choise for food. The location is in the middle of knowwhere but all facilities are on the resort.
